A project signing ceremony for the Wuxi Intelligent Medical Industrial Park was held in Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on Feb 28.

Built by WND, Wuxi Xingzhou Industrial Park Development Company and Suzhou Dushu Alliance, the park will be located in Hongshan sub-district and feature innovation incubation, R&D production, intelligent display and professional services. The park will strive to achieve a total output value in excess of 5 billion yuan ($745.5 million) by 2025.

Wuxi Mayor Huang Qin attended the signing ceremony and said the city has attached great importance to the health industry and supports the cultivation and development of biomedicine and medical devices. Taking advantage of the internet of things industry in the city, the park will aim to attract more medical enterprises and talents while promoting smart medicine.

Ning Yihua, chairman of Suzhou Dushu Alliance, said that the alliance will introduce enterprises to the park and support its development in the Yangtze River Delta.

Suzhou Dushu Alliance, established in 2015, is the first high-quality alliance initiated and established by regional independent innovation medical device enterprises in China. The alliance is composed of over 50 leading enterprises engaged in the development of intelligent hospital information systems, imaging equipment, and treatment equipment, along with many other products. In 2018, the turnover of Suzhou Dushu Alliance exceeded 8 billion yuan.
