Huishan ancient town in Wuxi's Huishan district, with its time-honored history and profound cultural deposits, is the best place to appreciate the splendor of the ginkgo trees.

Located in the Gu Kejiu's Temple, a giant ginkgo tree, which is more than 470 years old, is the oldest of all the ginkgo trees of Wuxi city. The old ginkgo tree has become the mascot of Huishan ancient town, attracting a number of tourists when it turns golden in the autumn.

With forests, parks, gardens and ancient buildings, Huishan ancient town has become a cultural icon in Wuxi, with many foods and other products bearing the name of Huishan Mountain, such as Huishan clay figures and Huishan cakes.
