These photos are taken in 1972 by Stanford University alumnus William Joseph, who was invited to visit Wuxi, along with other scholars. They toured the local representative tourist attractions, such as the Wuxi section of the Grand Canal from Beijing to Hangzhou (the longest artificial waterway in the world), and the Huishan Clay Figurine Factory.
