A colorful ice sculpture show themed Adventures of Mammoth (a story from Ice Age, Fox's animated movie) will be open to public from August 1, at the ice gallery of Plum Garden, Wuxi.

Visitors can enjoy the coolness in the scorching summer heat, as well as taking part in amusement activities and take group photos with the attractive ice sculptures of cartoon figures.

According to a principal of the spot, 30 masters worked in the eight-degree-below-zero ice house. The figures are all from the Ice Age, and divided into five divisions. At the show, a super dinosaur, 3 meters in height and 2.7 meters in length is standing tall. Visitors can even go through its opening mouth.

Manny, a mammoth and the leading figure of the movie Ice Age, is 3 meters in length and 2 meters in height, with two 1.5-meter-long fangs. Its skin looks vivid, which took masters three working days to complete.

Apart from the fantastic sculptures, visitors can also enjoy activities through three ice slides including a U-style ski run and a spiral curve slide with a pool at the bottom, which can give visitors a feeling of surfing. People at different ages can enjoy them, and some daring people can even try the thrilling one.

Tips:

The ice gallery will be open to public on Aug 1 and the temperature there will be kept at 6 degrees below zero. Children under the age of three and people having hypertension or coronary heart disease are not expected to enter. Visitors have been suggested to wear long trousers and sneakers, as well as a coat. The spot can provide coat on rent for 10 yuan per coat.
