Have you ever tried to run a bicycle on water? No? Then you have got an opportunity to enjoy it. And it needs no experience or special skills.

The city of Wuxi is hosting its first contest on water bicycling from July 25, 2015 at the Lihu Scenic spot.

The contest will run till August 22, is composed of preliminary, semi and final events. The preliminaries are being conducted in the mornings of every Saturday (9:30 am to 10:30 am) from July 25 to August 15. The semis and finals are set to start from 9 am of August 22. The game will select top six winners in the final.

Participants have no request for relevant experiences. Anyone who is in good health, with the age between 16 and 50, and more than 1.5 meters in height can join the game.

Though the track is only 60 meters in length, it needs outstanding coordination and balancing techniques as well as team work and cooperation between the partners.

All the participants need to wear life-vests to ensure safety. Besides, anyone who wants to withdraw from the game can whistle to ask the nearby safety staff for help.

The waterbicycle looks like a bicycle installed in the sailboard, which needs two people to ride together. It is safe to ride in the water for its strong stability and anti-wave resistance. People who play it for the first time need to take safety classes and guidance from the staff beforehand.
