The boy often brushes his horse's hair, cleans the stable and saves pocket money to buy the horse's food.
One time, in order to take better care of his horse, he even slept in a tent next to the competition's stable, because the hotels around the competition field were already full.
Besides being a student and a member of China Youth Equestrian Team, Mi obtained the Certificate of International Secondary Trainer issued by the British Equestrian Federation in April this year.
He was also awarded the Best Youngman of Taicang by the municipal government in May.
