Now that the college entrance exams are over, the Shuizhiyun Hotel says it is offering discounts to high-school grads who arrange a dinner party to express their thanks to teachers, parents, relatives and friends.

The hotel offers 15-percent off any such events booked between July 1 and Sept 30. The discount does not include wine or other drinks or seafood. But, anyone who books more than 10 tables and spend at least 15,000 yuan will get the use of two additional rooms and, if the expense goes over 20,000 yuan, the hotel will provide two complementary bottles of Chinese wine for each table and three additional rooms.

There are also coupons for customers who pay cash.
