The CASA MULTI shopping plaza adjoining the Changsha Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Area will open to the public next month with over 40 top international brands being unveiled.

The 200-million-yuan shopping plaza was funded by Changsha Lishun Supply Chain Management Co, and covers an area of 1,500 square meters. Construction of the main building has been completed. It is expected to begin trial operations in July and formally open in September.

"There will be a number of international luxury brands for people to choose from. The CASA MULTI will offer more favorable prices to consumers while ensuring the quality of their products," said Lin Chunmao, head of the company.

The shopping center is expected to become a trading hub for famous international brands in Central China.

The investor boasts its own bonded warehouse in the area, which will convert preferential tax reduction policies into lower prices for commodities at the plaza.

Lin pointed out that "products from across the globe enjoy tax benefits in the bonded area and our bonded warehouse saves on operating costs for the company, allowing consumers to buy international new-arrivals at a low price."?"This is an important reason we decided to build the shopping center here," he added.

The Changsha Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Area is becoming a hotspot for investment, with 72 enterprises registering to set up in the area in the first four months of this year, bringing the total number of registered enterprises to 196.

These enterprises had a combined import-export value of $450 million from January to April. The total value is estimated to have reached $750 million as of May.
