A CCTV crew, headed by Guo Jihong, producer and chief director of the program Our Chinese Heart,Music Domains, arrived in Yichang city, Hubei province, on Oct 15, to shoot a program as part of the series, hubeitour.gov.cn reported.

Guo told reporters that the crew was hoping to film the scenery and also segments showcasing the local musical heritage of Yichang.

Guo was previously deputy director of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala for four years, and this was her second visit to Hubei.

She said that she hopes to have time to visit the Three Gorges Dam, Qingjiang River Art Gallery and the Three Gorges Household.

The crew stayed in Yichang until Oct 17. Last year, CCTV-4 aired a special feature about Changyang Tujia autonomous county in Yichang city.
