The Port-Bridge Section of the East Sea Bridge Project (China)

As China's first super-large cross-sea bridge, the bridge won the "Gold Medal for National Excellent Projects 2008" and the title of "100 Classic & Excellent Projects Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of New China".
The sea dyke undertaken by CGGC is 1220m long in total, with a base width of over 200m and a fill height of 14～29m. As a comprehensive project built on an offshore deep soft foundation, it serves as both a sea embankment and an expressway. It is the first time for China to construct an offshore dike where waves are rough.
