The water tunnel No.1 in ChameliyaHydropower Station in Nepal completes its upstream section

On Nov 1, the water tunnel No.1 in ChameliyaHydropower Station completed its upstream section, symbolizing a key progress of the project undertaken by CGGC.
The No.1 tunnel runs 698.15 meters with a horseshoe cross section. Against the geographic disadvantages, the Project Department of CGGC based on optimized scheme adopted short drilling footage, weak blast, reinforced timbering and manual-blast excavation to speed up construction and ensure the completion.
