Zheng Kunsheng, president of the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE), visited Huaqiao Economic Development Zone to investigate low-carbon urban construction, accompanied by officials of Housing and Urban Construction Department of Jiangsu Province. Zhang Jianwen, deputy director of Huaqiao Economic Development Zone welcomed visitors.
Zheng Kunsheng and his delegation first visited Tianfu ? Huaqiao integration of urban-rural areas and Qiaoyuan resource-conserving garden, and listened to their achievements in low-carbon urban construction of the business park in recent years. Zheng Kunsheng expressed his appreciation and supported further improvements in green buildings and energy savings.
They also visited demonstration projects, including Lvdirencai Apartments (one-star low-income housing), solar photovoltaic applications in Tiantian International Main Exhibition Hall (the province’s second largest photovoltaic project) and the Financial Park (three-star green buildings), gaining an insight into low-carbon urban construction of the park, especially for green buildings.
