The representatives of Kunshan’s People Congress visited Huaqiao economic development zone for an investigation into Huaqiao’s construction progress last Monday.
Under the lead of Shen Huafei and Cheng Wenrong, vice directors of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone, then checked the construction sites of a school, a community and a main road.
The newly-built construction, which is worth 2.044 billion yuan, is 1654.1 thousand square meters. 1105 thousand square meters is planted with trees and grass.
The representatives spoke highly of Huaqiao’s efforts in guaranteeing the construction’s quality and speed.
After that, they heard the report by Shen Huafei on the constructions’ progress and difficulties met in the construction. Shen pointed out the development of Huaqiao has entered a turning point. At such an important time, he urged the representatives to put forward suggestions and contribute to building Huaqiao into a harmonious zone.
