Mass culture activities and holiday celebrations will be held in Ruzhou from June to December, 2012. The theme of the activities is "joy in central China, charm of Ruzhou".
People in Ruzhou will be able to enjoy splendid art performances without traveling far. Various activities, including opera and evening parties, art performances for the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in July, environmental law publicity performances, art performances by the military, digital movies, and other culturally-rich events in the countryside will take place.
Inspired by this activity, the Henan art performance group will hold another activity with the theme of “stage art performances for farmers” in Ruzhou. In all, there will be thirteen performances given in the municipal theater square, the railway station square, and the township culture courtyard, covering a wide range of short comedy plays, singing, dancing, and operas.
