The Pingdingshan talent office announced 15 Ruzhou professional and technical talents finished their four year terms at the end of 2010. The announcement, made on April 20, 2011, said those involved had yielded heartening fruits.
Groups of professional and technical talents are nominated by every county and county-level city in Pingdingshan every two years; each group will hold the honor for four years. During the term, those selected will do technological research and innovation.
During the four-year term, the 15 Ruzhou professional and technical talents had a great awareness of their duty, completing 13 municipal scientific research projects, 11 feature programs, 15 works. They also published 60 plus research theses and more than 380 painting and photography works were created. At the same time, they organized 160 training sessions for 150,000 people.
