"The holding of the China Brand Festival will provide support for Guizhou's economic development, help Guizhou attract investment and make Guizhou's brands influential," said Zheng Yannong, executive vice chairman of the China Brand Festival and vice president of the China E-Commerce Association at the press conference of the China Brand Festival and 2014 Guizhou Brand and Investment Promotion Conference on July 15.

Talking about the selection of Guiyang as the host city of the Festival, Zheng added,"Guiyang has superior natural resources as well as strong economic growth which is very attractive."
The China Brand Festival and 2014 Guizhou Brand and Investment Promotion Conference is sponsored by the China E-Commerce Association, Guizhou Provincial Federation of Industry & Commerce and Guiyang municipal government and it will open for three days from August 7 in Guiyang.
By then, delegations from leading companies, researchers, and representatives from investment agencies will attend the event.

"Guizhou brands make up a large proportion of this year's festival," said Wang Yong, secretary of the China Brand Festival.
The event will also include a series of activities, such as the 18th China Brand Summit, 2014 China Brand Awards Ceremony and forums on finance, medicine, design and media.
"The build up of Chinese brands cannot depend on one brand or one company, but relies on a group of China brands rising together. The host of this festival is helpful for enhancing the branding of Guiyang and attracting investment, further driving the rise of companies and brands in Guizhou," Xie said.
