The Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2014 will open in Guiyang on July 10, and it will last until July 12. One of its sub forums, themed around "ecological sports", will be a highlight of the forum this year.
According to an official of the Guizhou Sports Bureau, the ecological sports forum will be composed of two sessions: seminars and practical experiences. Guests, scholars and government officials will discuss the relationship between humans, sports, health and ecology through a series of seminar discussions and outdoor practices.
The practical session will be in Longli county, which is also part of the Longli Ecological Sports & Leisure Festival's activities.
The sports forum also invites the mayor of Olympia, Greece, as the guest speaker to talk about the history and culture of the Olympics.
Also, it will invite as many as 1,500 outdoor enthusiasts to participate in various outdoor activities, including cycling, a rock climbing competition, golf and wildness survival trainings.
