Twelve Asian photographers were able to see the merits of southwest China's Guizhou province during the first chapter of a trip themed 'China in the eyes of the Asian Media'.
"I felt like I was walking in the virgin forest with a vista full of green plants and with fresh air to breath!" said Andrew Sia Koon Siong, a Malaysian photographer from The Star.

Andrew said climbing the Yun Tai Mountain, ShiBing County, Guizhou province is similar to the Milford Track in New Zealand, where people can forget their troubles and embrace nature.
"It's my second time here, and the change is magnificent," Andrew said.

He said that Guiyang was just like a grey picture with fewer tall buildings and comparatively fewer streets than ten years ago. But now the city is a modern one with many skyscrapers, cars and colorful lights.
"I finally figured out why people call this place 'Colorful Guizhou',"he added.
