1. Mild temperature with warm winters and cool summers

Nine months of a year will see average temperature above 10 C . There has been no record of temperature going above 35 C.

Although Anshun is on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, local people have whiter skin than those in other plateau areas, thanks to cloud and rain, which block solar and ultraviolet radiation.

2. Rainy and windy with fresh air

Summer in Anshun also features frequent wind and heavy rainfall, so summer is cool and fresh.

The precipitation between June and August is 676 mm, about half of the total rainfall. It rains for 17 to 19 days in a month, and 70 percent of the rain falls at night. Morning after the rain will have very fresh air that contains abundant negative oxygen ions, making Anshun a natural "oxygen bar".

3. Eight months of comfort in a year

Anshun is a comfortable place to stay from April to November.

4. Proper altitude

Anshun has its altitude between 560 and 1,500 meters, where air pressure is the best for human heart. From this point of view, Anshun is an ideal place for living and traveling.
