Qingzhen: judicial practice protecting environment

Qingzhen established a municipal environment protection tribunal in late 2007, and has been committed to punishing behaviors which damage ecological harmony.
According to chief judge of the tribunal Luo Guangqian, Qingzhen has witnessed obvious decreases in ecological crimes.
The court has also invested in a project to build a compound ecological wetland system in Hongfenghu. The system is expected to purify 35 tons of sewage every day and transform the elements in sewage into fertilizers for plants.
