World famous pianist Lang Lang presented a concert in Libo county, Guizhou province, on July 27.
Thousands of people gathered at Red Boat Square on the night to enjoy the gala, which began with a rendition of Four Seasons.
In the highlight of the concert, Lang Lang played Military March with the accompaniment of 100 children.
After the performance, Lang was named an image ambassador to promote Libo county around the world.
Libo county is located in the south of Guizhou and is a World Heritage Site. The county’s Maolan Biosphere Reserve, famous for its virgin forest and karst landscapes, is part of the UNESCO Man and Biosphere Program. The county is nicknamed Earth Emerald and received more than 10 million visitors in 2015, bringing in 8.68 billion yuan ($ 1.3 billion) in revenue.
