Located to the northeast of Haitan Island, Dongxiang Island is embraced by sea.

Covering an area of 4.8 square kilometers, its coastline extends 17.3 kilometers in total. Although local tourism has developed relatively late, its beautiful seaside scenery and unique fishing village customs still attract countless tourists from home and abroad.

Dongxiang Island is populated with stone folk dwellings. The stone houses along the island's beaches have created a unique landscape.

Tourists can also appreciate glamorous views of Yubei Mountain or beautiful sunsets at Hulu'ao beach.
