Mathematics teachers from Pingtan started a training course in Beijing on September 26, according to a report in the Pingtan Times.

The teachers are attending lectures at Beijing Normal University and they are thus able to interact with teachers from around the country.

One teacher said that this is the most prestigious training program that the county's teachers have ever attended – and Beijing is the first stop of the course.
