The Pingtan administrative committee said on Sept 17 that it will soon announce the top performers in Pingtan's construction workers' contest, who will be named Star Laborers.

The contest, launched in June, has mobilized the labor force in the county, and the construction momentum has increased.

The "Star Laborer", a quarterly award, will go to 10 individuals and 5 agencies, with the prize money ranging from 5,000 yuan ($817) to 10,000 yuan, depending on the category.
