The Fujian provincial government sent a team to Pingtan on August 27 to inspect the county's implementation of regulations concerning the construction process.

Chen Changming, director of the local public security bureau, said that Pingtan has been actively promoting laws and ordering cadres to handle matters in accordance to the law, which helps to create a sound social and legal environment.

The team praised Pingtan's efforts in legal construction, and the inspectors said they hope the county will develop an innovative legal mechanism, focusing on cross-Straits communications.
