Gong Youqun, director of the Fujian Provincial Housing and Urban-Rural Development Department, visited the province's Pingtan county on July 25 to survey the quality of indemnificatory apartments.

Gong and his entourage briskly toured a couple of indemnificatory housing projects in Jinjin Bay, Haixia Ruyi town and Liushui community. They also carried out investigations on the safety of engineering structures and the quality of projects.

Pingtan should beef up supervision on construction of indemnificatory houses and solve quality problems in time, said Gong.

He praised Pingtan's achievements in ecological construction and pledged to provide assistance to Pingtan's construction.
