A team consisting of representatives from Myanmar's National League for Democracy (NLD) visited Pingtan on Tuesday for study purposes.

The team looks forward to absorbing Fujian province's experience in economic and social development, as well as finding efficient ways of improving people's livelihood, according to the team leader.

Founded on September 27, 1988, the NLD is Myanmar's main opposition party.
