Kitesurfing athletes Chen Jingle and Deng Xiaocheng won second and third place, respectively, at a Kiteboard Tour Asia (KTA) event that concluded in the Philippines on March 31, Pingtan Times reported on April 2.

The races in the Philippines, between March 27 and 31, attracted 70 top-class kitesurfers from around the world.

Cheng Jingle, a female athlete from the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Fujian province, won second place at the Philippines station. Another player from the pilot zone, Deng Xiaocheng, won the third-place prize in the men’s kitesurfing competition.

The Pingtan kiteboarding team has returned home for the KTA Pingtan Tour to be held in May in Pingtan.
