The Central Business Zone lies in the middle of the main island of Pingtan and consists of three neighborhoods - Lancheng, Zhuyu, and Tancheng.

The Central Business?Area lies in the middle of the main island of Pingtan, Fujian province, and consists of three neighborhoods - Lancheng, Zhuyu, and Tancheng.

Langcheng and Zhuyu are centers for commerce and trade, banking and insurance, administration, hotel and catering, shopping and entertainment, habitation and life services.

Tancheng, or the old downtown area, will be reconstructed into a center for commercial service, education, public health, habitation, and tourism.
