Baishuiyang says ‘welcome’ to more tourists

More than 20,000 tourists could be seen enjoying themselves with the cool water of the 80,000-square–meter Baishuiyang scenic area, in Pingnan county, Fujian province, on Aug 1, where the overall traffic in the Jan – July period was 1.4 million visitors, an increase of 79.3 percent over the same last year period. Income from the tourist business amounted to 946 million yuan ($153.3 million), a whopping increase of 79.7 percent.
