An innovative incubator for entrepreneurs with the name "YOU + Entrepreneurship Community" was unveiled in Fuzhou, Fujian province, fjsen.com reported on Jan 22.

The incubator functions as a youth hostel offering accommodation options and entertainment facilities such as billiard tables and a café. It is the first of its kind in Fujian and the 17th in the country.

Covering an area of over 6,000 square meters, the hostel has 173 rooms, each including a bunk bed, a bathroom, a work table and chair and air-conditioning.

Apart from lower rent, the hostel mixes renters' advantages in innovation, talent availability, finance, products and technology, all in pursuit of cooperation opportunities.

The hostel will regularly eliminate renters who are not willing to share their resources nor interactive by public voting.

With investment from Xiaomi Corp's Lei Jun, the hostel is also called "Xiaomi Apartment".

Fuzhou plans to build five more such communities in the next three to five years.
