A monk sits atop the Shaolin Temple in Quanzhou city, Fujian province, May 17. Located east of the Qingyuan Mountain of Quanzhou, the Quanzhou Shaolin Temple is the birthplace of the South Shaolin martial art, which has spread to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and Southeast Asia.
