DRC, EDF hold talks to promote energy cooperation

Li Wei, minister of the DRC, met with a delegation headed by Henri Proglio, chairman and CEO of French Power Group (EDF) on Dec 5.
Li introduced the general ideas on reforms illustrated by the 3rd Plenum of the 18th Central Committee of CPC. Both sides exchanged views on the cooperation between China and France in the field of power, as well as the issues of SOE reform.
Those present at the meeting were Hou Yongzhi, director-general of Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy; Ge Yanfeng, direcor-general of Department of Social Development; Zhao Changwen, director-general of Research Institute of Enterprise and Lan Weiban,vice-director-general of International Cooperation Department.
