Zhongguancun Lingchuang Finance Information Service Co. joined hands with Beijing Intellectual Property Operations Management Co. and Beijing Iptalent Consulting Co to hold a themed salon on April 28 to offer professional IP training to nearly 20 scientific start-ups . The salon offered guidance on various IP problems in the companies’ innovation and entrepreneurial processes.
Lingchuang Finance was founded in July 2015 and is wholly owned by Zhongguancun Development Group. The company aims to develop a comprehensive support system featuring financial service at its core and including technical, policy, market, talent and business settlement services, all of which will help innovative companies grow. Lingchuang has agreed to cooperate with Beijing IP and Beijing Iptalent Consulting by recommending start-ups to them. The start-ups will then receive custom-made IP services from those two companies at preferential prices for their future business needs.
At the salon, He Min’gang, assistant general manager of Beijing IP, and Zhang Le, head of the company’s IP operation department, shared their expertise on business IP value realization and cooperative IP operations in the new era. The company was funded by the Beijing government to speed up Zhongguancun demonstration area development and boost IP commercialization pilot work. It has already developed a “1+2+N” IP operation service system. The number 1 refers to resource integration and establishment of an IP operation cooperative service platform, 2 refers to IP operation and finance services, and N currently refers to patent pool development and operation, SPV IP operation, internet plus IP operation, and IP financing.
Li Chen and Liang Yan, both vice-general managers of Beijing Iptalent, shared their real-life experiences in innovation risk evaluation and treatment and IP layout to stay competitive. The company has focused on IP consultation service since it was established in 2013. It has successfully finished more than 300 IP consultation projects. The company’s team has accumulated abundant experience in business patent management, risk handling, industry research and technical route design through carrying out large-scale, complex and long-period projects. It has been named an excellent unit for IP service performance in Zhongguancun, a model for IP analysis and evaluation service by the State Intellectual Property Office, and a technical transfer service institute by the Beijing science and technology committee
