Zhongguancun Science Park released the results for its 2012 Top 10 selection series in the Zhongguancun Conference Center on Jan 16. This year's lists included annual icons, returned overseas talent, outstanding brands and innovative brands.

Famous entrepreneurs also delivered keynote speeches at the event. Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, shared his experience in business and brand building. Zhou Ruxin, president of BDStar Navigation, and other winners attended the conference and participated in a summit dialogue.

The annual Top 10 selection series is in its fourth year and has already become one of the most important and influential promotion activities in the science park. The event aims to showcase Zhongguancun's new achievements and promote an innovation-friendly environment.

The selection process began on Aug 15, 2012, and has undergone professional appraisal and public solicitation. The result was released based on the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality.

Upon the approval of Zhongguancun's administrative committee, the event was sponsored by the Brand China Industry Union and jointly organized by Brand Union (Beijing) Consulting, China Technology Exchange and four other companies. It also won support from other entities in Zhongguancun.
