Huainan and Liu'an in Anhui province are working together on the second Da Bagong Mountain Tourism Carnival, in order to promote the influence and popularity of the Da Bagong Mountain.
The carnival lasts from March 20 to April 20 and is divided into three phases: publicity, a themed activity and promotional campaign. The themed activity on March 30 took place at the main venue, the Maoxian Cave area and the Bagong Mountain area of Shouxian county.
Altogether nine events took place on that day:
1. The launching ceremony of the carnival at the North Gate Square;
2. The "care race", where families could take part in different games in their cars;
3. Weibo and WeChat users broadcasting their experiences, delicacies and culture of the BaGong Mountain;
4. A meeting of literature lovers, where famous writers and journalists were invited to meet and communicate;
5. A local culture performance and a souvenir fair;
6. A photography trip, where many photographers were invited to shoot photos of the mountain for an online contest;
7. A lecture by Jiang Peng, a professor from the Fudan University and lecturer of the famous TV show "Lecture Room";
8. A photography activity on peach blossoms at the Maoxian Cave;
9. The 9th pear blossom poetry meeting of Shouxian county.
