Large Medium SmallSun Hao, an art professor with the Art Academy of the People's Liberation Army, is staging his first solo show of oil figure paintings at National Art Museum of China.
Trained in oil painting and pastels, Sun has in recent years participated actively in creating huge, panoramic oil works depicting critical events in modern Chinese history such as the Opium War, and the civil war between the Communist Party-led army and Kuomintang army in the late 1940s.
