1. make it
這是一個(gè)常用的短語(yǔ)，表示“及時(shí)到達(dá)，實(shí)現(xiàn)預(yù)定目標(biāo)，做成一件事”等等。例如：We just made it for the movie. 我們正好趕上電影。本段中的 He won't be able to make it.意思就是“他不能來(lái)了。”
2. on one's way
