年度全球競爭力報告出爐 中國排名列54位

China has slipped six places to 54th in the World Economic Forum's
(WEF) global competitiveness rankings, a report said yesterday.
Due to cautious macro-economic management, China is enjoying buoyant
growth rates, low inflation, one of the highest savings rates in the
world, and manageable levels of public debt, the WEF's Global
Competitiveness Report (2006-07) said.
However, a number of structural weaknesses need to be addressed,
including those in the largely State-controlled banking sector, the report
warned.
China also has low penetration rates for technologies such as the
Internet and personal computers, and its secondary and tertiary school
enrolment rates are still low by international standards.
China also needs to improve environmental qualities of various
institutions both private and public, said Augusto Lopez-Claros, Chief
Economist and Director of the WEF's Global Competitiveness Network.
Switzerland, Finland and Sweden are the world's most competitive
economies, according to the report. Denmark, Singapore, the United States,
Japan, Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom complete the top 10
list. The biggest faller is the United States, dropping from first to
sixth.
The rankings are drawn from a combination of publicly available hard
data and the results of a comprehensive annual survey conducted by the WEF
among 125 economies worldwide.
"By providing detailed assessments of the economic conditions of
nations worldwide, the report offers policy-makers and business leaders an
important tool in the formulation of improved economic policies and
institutional reforms," said Klaus Schwab, the WEF Founder and Executive
Chairman.

據9月27日消息，世界經濟論壇公布最新全球競爭力排名，中國的經濟競爭力下滑6個榜位，目前名列第54位。
世界經濟論壇發布的《2006-2007全球競爭力報告》中提到，由于中國實行謹慎的宏觀經濟調控政策，經濟發展一直保持著高增長、低通脹的勢頭；同時，中國是全球儲蓄率最高的國家之一，國債可管理水平也位居世界前列。
報告中說，但是目前中國包括國有控股銀行在內的一些行業還存在著很多亟需解決的經濟結構問題。
此外，我國的科技滲透率（包括互聯網、電腦等）較低，中學和大學的入學率仍然低于國際標準。
世界經濟論壇全球競爭力網絡總裁兼首席經濟學家奧古斯托·洛佩茲-克拉羅斯說，中國還需要改善公共機構和私人機構的環境質量。
報告顯示，瑞典、芬蘭和瑞士位居全球競爭力排行榜前三位，位于前十名的其它幾位依次是新加坡、美國、日本、德國、荷蘭和英國。美國的競爭力排名下滑幅度最大，從第一位下滑到第六位。
全球競爭力排名是綜合官方公布的硬數據和世界經濟論壇對125個經濟體所做的年度綜合調查得來的。
世界經濟論壇建立者和執行主席克勞斯·施瓦布說："全球競爭力報告對世界各國經濟狀況進行了詳細評估，這為政策制訂者和商界領導們完善經濟政策和進行機構改革提供了重要依據。"
