十運會女子舉重比賽在蘇州大學體育館產生了58公斤級的金牌。雅典奧運會冠軍、東道主選手陳艷青以抓舉112.5公斤、挺舉142.5公斤、總成績255公斤的優異成績奪魁，三個成績不但全部打破了全國紀錄，同時也超越了世界紀錄。報道如下：

and total of the women's 58kg category weightlifting at the 10th
National Games Tuesday afternoon. Chen Yanqin, from Jiangsu province,
jerked 142.5kg and totaled 255kg en route to winning the gold medal of the
division.
報道中的jerk指的是舉重比賽中的"挺舉"，也可說成clean and jerk。jerk 作為動詞用時，可表示"急拉，猛扯"，例如：She
