III. Project Description:
Tongchuanshi Linzi Special Battery Co., Ltd., a joint stock company, was established in 1998. It lies in the New Zone, Tongchuan with total assets of RMB 80 million Yuan and covering an area of 30 mu. It is about 2km to Yaozhou West Railway Station and 70km to Xi'an and XianyangAirport through expressways, it is very convenient in communication. The company now possesses 240 staffs, of which 28 are engineering and technical personnel and 25 management. It is a hi-tech company engaged in the R&D, production and sales of Ni-H environmental protective battery series and large-scale battery testing and recharging devices. The main products are Ni-H rechargeable battery series and the chargers, LR batteries, customer brand batteries, camcorder batteries, and large-scale battery testing and recharging devices etc. The current annual capacity is 120 million Ni-H batteries, 100 million LR batteries and 15,000 units of large-scale battery testing and recharging devices etc.
Non-pollution power supply is a kind of new type, non-pollutive, environmental protective substitute energy source extensively used in power bicycles. Linzi plans to acquire 150 mu land and invest RMB124.9 million Yuan to construct a 300,000 units/y production line of H-Ni power batteries specially used for power bicycles.
IV. Total Investment and Cooperation Form:
Total investment is USD 15.10 million, of which USD 9.25 million shall be loaned and USD 5.85 million self financed. Forms of cooperation: Joint venture, cooperation, and to be shareholder.
V. Anticipation of Market and Investment Return:
After the completion of the project, it is estimated to realize sales income of USD 18.13 million a year. The investment recovery period is 4.93 years and the investment return rate is 29.54%.
