Chinese-American designer Jason Wu has unveiled his Spring 2016 collection during New York Fashion Week on Friday.

Inspired by mid-century modern furniture, Jason Wu gets experimental with fabric, showcasing a collection filled with unusual textiles.

"Raffias, basket weave fabrics, this kind of rough sandy organza, silk organza that felt so modern. And the silk gauze that we frayed at the edges that gave you a sense of sophistication but in a very modern way."
