James McAvoy also received a nomination for best actor.

The BAFTAs, scheduled on February 10, are expected to be a huge event due to a celebrity boycott over the Hollywood writers' strike.
The boycott caused last weekend's Golden Globes ceremony to be cancelled and also threatens the Academy Awards ceremony planned for February 24.
