Signed, sealed, delivered ... Bridget's knickers[Hugh Grant]

BRIDGET Jones' massive panties are to be auctioned off for charity.

The infamous item of underwear - which was worn by Renee Zellweger in both Bridget Jones' Diary movies - are to be sold to raise cash for some of London's most famous green spaces, including Regents Park and Kensington Gardens where key scenes in the films were shot.

The knickers - which have been signed by Renee's co-star Hugh Grant - will be auctioned off at a charity dinner for Britain's Royal Parks Foundation this week.

It is unlikely the actress will be sad to part with the unflattering underwear.

Renee once revealed she is now so terrified of airport security guards handling her intimates, she sends them home by courier.

She said: "They always choose to go through my stuff. They check out my phone book and then all my clothes. But I can't bear the idea of them checking out my smalls in front of me.

"So I send those to my home by Fed Ex and collect all these boxes of used knickers when I get back."
