Things look bad for Reese and Ryan

If a new pregnancy is supposed to make couples happy, then why are Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe so blue? Witherspoon started gossip that she was expecting her third child with Phillippe when she was seen sporting flowing clothes and a small bump. Sources now confirm the pregnancy to Australia’s NW and claim that Reese's insistence on working has caused a great deal of stress in her marriage.

A friend of the couple told NW, "Everything seemed great after [Reese] found out she was pregnant again. Ryan was thrilled and he thought Reese expecting another baby showed she had her priorities in place – with him and their family." But Phillippe quickly learned that his intentions for the family were not the same as Reese’s. An insider said, "Reese announced she wants to keep working on her newest film…as well as starting filming another movie, Sports Widow in the months leading up to the birth,"

One mole chimed in, "Ryan went mad when he heard her plans. He told her she cared more about her career than him or the kids. He made her feel very guilty for wanting to work while she was pregnant." Another source said, "Ryan thought that Reese getting pregnant made their arguing a thing of the past. But it was a false dawn – the peace didn't last for long and things went downhill pretty quickly."

Now the couple is in the middle of quite a brawl. One source said their fighting is "worse than ever. It seems less likely they're going to work things out – and it looks like divorce could be just round the corner." The prospect of divorce is frightening to Reese, who married Ryan at just 23. A friend told NW, "She doesn't want to raise two kids and a new baby all alone, but if she has to, she will."
