"We hope that ATP will be responsible to maintain its branded product for
their own sake in the long-term interest," Wang said.
Thanks to the success achieved by its women's players including stunning
double gold medals at 2004 Athens Olympic Games, tennis frenzy is on the rise in
the most-populous nation where table tennis and badminton are national
past-times.
"We know that the mania in China surrounding tennis is
not easy. China has started the tennis fever at a late stage, so it's not easy,"
said Qin.
