Taiwan's KMT chief begins historic mainland visit

Taiwan oposition KMT leader Lien Chan and wife Lien Fang-Yu wave to
the well-wishers and officials greeting them at the airport upon arrival at the
Nanjing Lukou International Airport April 26, 2005. Lien landed in the eastern
