CCB provides Three Gorges with financial services

The China
Construction Bank (CCB) had provided the Three Gorges Project with 7.3 billion
yuan (883 million US dollars) of credit capital by the end of May.
A CCB spokesman said that, as the host bank of the Three Gorgesproject, it
had provided the project 70 kinds of financial services, including construction
capital, migration capital, purchase price clearing and financial settlement.
He said the CCB had so far handled Three Gorges construction capital of 90.8
billion yuan and migration capital of 32.337 billion yuan without error. At the
same time, the bank had actively provided the project with foreign exchange
services, price assessment consultation, financial advice, individual financing
and other services.
He said the CCB had cooperated well with the Three Gorges development company
over the past dozen years, and had also granted a credit line of 38 billion yuan
to the Yangtze Power Co. Ltd. for power generation, management and investment.
