Three decades ago when China launched the reform and opening-up policy, China and the European Union almost had no trading relations. And now the EU has become China's largest trading partner and China the second largest for the EU. According to the EU’s latest statistics, the trading volume between China and the EU surpassed that between the United States and the EU for the first time this July. While these all look promising, Europe is experiencing a financial crisis, and many people have turned their eyes to China. But what does this crisis have to do with China?
