Complete with perfectly created capes, masks and superhero symbols the heart-melting shots of Batman, Batgirl, Superman, Captain America and Wonder Woman showcase the classic superheroes from DC and Marvel comics in the tiny form of babies.

Superhero-fan and baby photographer Christy Peterson, 43, from Port Orchard, Washington, decided to create the incredible shots as a celebration of her most inspiring superheroes.
